World Vegan Day - November 1st 2009

On November 1^st this year, PAAW was proud to be part of the worldwide event World Vegan Day, which celebrated and promoted the growing awareness of more ethically, environmentally and health conscious lifestyle choices. This event was held at the beautiful Abbottsford Convent in Melbourne and was visited by many people of all ages.

PAAW held an information stall and a raffle for the prize of a lion cub print, which was won by a very happy young lady named Jessica. Scooby Doo, our number one fan, visited and helped out at the PAAW stall for a bit but his stomach got the better of him and he ended up prowling around the vast array of yummy vegan food stalls.

PAAW would like to thank the event coordinator Mark Doneddu for inviting us to be part of World Vegan Day. We also wish to thank the many people who took the time to stop at our stall to learn more about the work that PAAW does.  Special thanks go to those of you who bought our merchandise or donated to our cause. All proceeds go to helping animals here in Australia and Worldwide to live the way nature intended them to live.
