Wine & Cheese Night - July 25th 2009

Over 70 people turned out on Saturday 25th July to the Gemco Hall in Emerald for what turned out to be a fantastic night not just for everyone there but also for Soi Dog Foundation who received over $3000 from the night. Thank you to the wineries who turned up on the night and to the wonderful companies who donated cheese for the event. Some great raffle prizes were given away on the night and also most of the silent auctions went as well which was a great result. A live link up to Gill Dalley in Thailand went off without too many problems thankfully and by all accounts it was a worthwhile exercise to have her kindly answer questions on the night. In fact, Gill was quite overwhelmed by it all and passed on her utmost gratitude to everyone who attended on the night. A big thank you to Monika, Debbie, Lee, Brett, Monica and others who helped out on the night. The event would not have been a success without you!!
